This tiny little girl, who is one of my best buddies,....she is four years old now.
She is still so small that she just doesn't seem four to me.
Her clothes are still size 3T or even 2T, and she wears a size 7 in shoes. Tiny.
Simone you love everything with such happiness and passion!
Once you jumped and cheered so loud for the love of orange soda you knocked yourself off the stool you were sitting on.
You are still the most accident prone person I have ever met.
A few weeks ago you had a black eye, and I could not (for the life of me) remember how you got it. You get hurt so often....I wasn't sure which accident caused it.
You love Jake and The Neverland Pirates, and Mickey Mouse Club House. Love them.
You eat everything.
You ask me what's for dinner, I tell you, and then you ALWAYS cheer! "Hooray! I love Bolognese Pasta!" (or whatever it is that I've made.)
You LOVE sushi.
A miso soup, an avocado salad, and an order of salmon sashmi and you are set.
You have taken over Santa's job, and have put yourself in charge of seeing who's naughty or nice.
You put Daddy on the nice list way more often than me.
I love to shop with you.
Everyone always comments on how cute you are, and what a good shopper you are too.
They over hear you saying, "This is cute, Mommy. Buy this one."
You have great taste.
You don't take naps.
EXCEPT.....
If I am on my way to the dance studio.
I don't get it. You don't fall asleep in the car ANY other time.
Some of the parents at the studio have never seen you awake. What a bother.
I guess you do nap....on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday when I drive Natalia and Ellie to dance.
You say funny stuff.
Super funny.
"What's equals + equals?"
It's 3 am. You ask so kindly, "Can I use your bathroom, Mama?" Then you always say, "Thank you."
You let a balloon go in the sky today. Then you looked at me and said, "I want it back."
You love the Easter Bunny.
You write him notes. The pictures that you used to draw me...those are for him now.
You even pray for him.
Once I came downstairs to go to bed at about 11:00 at night.
I found you in your bed with my ipad and a bag of Cheetos watching movies!
You love your ballet class.
You have the cutest little legs and feet when you dance. I love it.
You are a Sunbeam at church now, but you don't call it that.....
"Mom, we learned about that in....you know..... the room with the suns."
You gesture with your hands that there are suns all around.
I'm so glad you are my little girl. Daddy and I think you are so great.
We smile every time you walk in the room....even when you really should be in your bed.
Love, love, love you.
