rush rush

Talia tripped and fell down the driveway last Sunday. She slid down the concrete right on her nose. The poor thing.

We were even going to be on time, but we had to rush inside and stop the bleeding. I told her she could stay home with Daddy (sick), but she wanted to come with us.




I have some amazing post and pictures. They are just going to have to wait. I am so busy!! Everyone is busy...but I am so busy that I think my head may explode! Maybe my heart too....I am feeling so so excited about so many things, and I don't have time for them yet. They sit on the back burner and wait.






Oh, Talia lost her first tooth too. A few weeks ago. I bawled like a little baby..er, a....big baby! How can she old enough to lose a tooth? She laughed and hugged me.

She was really excited to get a dollar from the tooth fairy, and woke me up really early to show it to me. =) Man, I love that sweet little ball of fire!



(Mom, go back up and look at the first picture....You can't even see the scar on her collarbone! Okay- you can see it, but it is so small. It has healed so nicely! Hopefully her nose will do the same.)

Gotta post these before Thanksgiving

We went to the pumpkin patch.
It was fun.

Talia was sick of being Dorothy, and was seriously jealous of my red glitter make-up that I wore the night before. Here she is in her cousin's red dress as a little devil.
The bee and the ninja posed too.

(I couldn't really think of anything sweet to say about my six year old in make-up and devil horns.)

The bee was naughty, so I'll set up a fake Halloween session and get her again.




There now I can stop worrying about not blogging Halloween.

Simone loves the alphabet. I am sure it is because Talia is always carrying around a notebook and a pen and asking me how to spell different words. She wants to be big like Natalia.

Talia has a wiggly tooth. It's getting really wiggly. Lincoln and I were inspecting it when I felt the tears coming. Why does a wiggly tooth always make me cry? I headed to the kitchen to hide, and I ducked behind the spot where the fridge jots out like 2.5 inches. (Ya, no place to hide in my kitchen.) Lincoln told Natalia to go hug me. I picked her up....and do you know what she did.....she wrapped her little legs around my ribs and her arms around my neck. She has done this since she was a little baby. Every time I picked her up from the changing table that is what she would do. Then I cried more, and she kissed me on the cheek.









I found this heart during a photo session. I love that the leaves are little hearts too. I find hearts every where----no really they find me, because I don't look for them. Natalia has started noticing them too. I take it as a reminder...

Wow, this was random post. I guess I am in a good mood. I got a ton of stuff marked off my to do list. It is still giant, and I am afraid I will have to ignore my kids for the majority of tomorrow so I can work. (Lincoln will be gone.) That kind of makes me want to cry too. I think that is because that is what I had to do all day today too. I'll be done with busy season soon, and then do you know what I am going to do......get ready for Christmas! I can't wait. =)

Renaissauce Festival

No that wasn't a typo...that is what Talia calls it.

This year was PERFECT! The weather was gorgeous. We had the best time together.


Here are some of the fun things we did.......




We watched a man swallow swords. Personally I liked watching my little girl and the sunshine on her.

They were fighting and pushing right before I took this! LOVE THEM!

Having fun at the wooden sword shop. Wyatt picked out a spear.

All Talia wanted to do is have her hair braided. Isn't this the coolest braid you have ever seen? I love it! I got my hair braided too. Talia's was cooler. =)



This is Adam! (my Bro. in law) He is the coolest. He is staying with us for a little while...and soon his family will join him in Maryland----and then the real party will begin! WOOHOO!

My point and shoot battery charger is lost. I took all these with my phone. I am glad I had something to capture our day.

OH. One thing I forgot! We rode on an elephant! Natalia, Wyatt, Lincoln and I rode it while Adam stayed with sleeping Simone. He took a picture on his phone. I'll have to post that! Fun stuff!
