My photograph of the mother holding her baby in the window received Judges' choice at the visitors center exhibit. You can visit the exhibit until Sept. 10th, at the Washington D.C. temple visitors center. All three of my images were hung on the wall, and I think they look so wonderful. I am glad I printed them large! =)
I went to the open house for the exhibit last night. The open house was for the photographers and their guests. Lincoln stayed home with Natalia, which was a bummer because we were going to go to the temple. (I didn't know that the temple was closed until I got there.) Thankfully, Christie came with me! She left her sick husband home with their four kids, so I was especially grateful that she was my guest! It was a little strange, because a few people wanted to meet ME. I didn't know how to act, so I hope I didn't make a fool of myself. It was fun to look at all the photographs, and it turned out to be a nice exhibit.

Okey, so I had to explain my celb comment... I went with Jeri up to look at the pictures, and people were all "oh, YOUR Jeri Tidwell! There is a man over here who wants to meet you." "oooh, what kind of camera are you shooting with?" "wow, do you do weddings." "do you have some buisness cards. " BOOK YOUR SITTINGS NOW FOLKS, THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG. SHE IS NO LONGER JUST OUR LITTLE WARD PHOTOGRAPHER. (and Jeri, don't let it go to your head. hehe)
